In the tranquil waters of Mana Pools National Park, Zimbabwe, Artur Stankiewicz found humor and charm in an unexpected subject. While initially hoping to photograph dramatic clashes between hippos, Stankiewicz encountered a surprisingly serene scene. One hippo, in particular, caught his eye—its head adorned with water plants, giving the appearance of an elaborate, freshly styled hairdo.
