I'm using the Canon 750D/Rebel t6i. I've used my 50mm lens at F/1.8 in aperture priority and the photo took rather quickly but the smallest is F/22 and the shutter closed for 30 secs, why did this happen?

Single lens reflex (SLR) or can be fixed with a single lens, but you can remove that lens and place another lens. Reflex part is when you take a pic, the shutter goes up for the thing to thing
Digital slr.

When you click your shutter release button, the mirror moves up and out of the way so that the film or sensor can record your photo. And that's why it's called the Reflex. Single Lens Reflex

Mirrored camera are lighter less compact.
They have no mirror.
Then there is compact one. They have way less features than the SLR.
Portraits weddings landscapes; then use DSLR or mirrorless camera.

Another camera type: Medium snd large format cameras. Professionals use them. Digital sensor is much larger than in dslr camera. It provided s more digital picture it depends on what is needed. Whether it is a DSLR, Mirror
